I found it very interesting how the article described how we listen to music and how we perceive sound. "All of the sound we hear is only a fraction of all the vibrating going on in our universe. What we do hear is the result of a dance between the world and how we are made." I found the quote above very interesting as we rarely think about how the sounds we hear are actually made and the different events that happen until they eventually land in our ears. I also found it very interesting the part about how the sounds we hear are only a fraction of total sounds. This reminds me of the question, "If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound." I also found it very interesting how the article talked about the 'living' parts of sound or that sounds are 'living' as a whole. "I'm interested in regarding these a conscious living systems with which I'm interacting." IT is very intriguing how they discussed that not only the animals that make the sounds are living but as well as the sounds themselves having their own conscious. MY final thought for the reading was just how deep it went into the inter-webbings of the universe and how things are connected and just how complex everything really is. "Science has begun to probe deeply into the possibility that our assumptions about animals intelligence and communication have been too simplistic."
